As our Brand Marketing Assistant – Part-Time, you will support in executing brand initiatives, activations, and campaigns to help grow Trail Blazers' brand affinity and deepen connection with various audiences. This is a part-time, temporary position located in Portland, Oregon. It is expected to start in September 2025 and wrap up by July 2026.

DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Assisting with integrated marketing campaigns to support brand initiatives.
  • Developing copy for a range of marketing communication channels, including e-mails, newsletters, websites, social media, broadcast, radio, in-app, and more.
  • Collaborating with various departments to authentically engage with communities, enhance fan experiences, and maximize partnerships.
  • Guiding the development and delivery of marketing assets using project management systems and software.
  • Overseeing content and messaging for watch campaigns for game broadcasts and docuseries, The Trail.
  • Attending various events to engage with fans, representing our organization and the Brand Marketing team.
  • Identifying innovative fan engagement opportunities to implement to achieve department goals.
  • Assisting with planning and execution of evergreen marketing, brand activations and moments, milestone celebrations, post-season, and more.
  • Developing survey questions to gain deeper fan insight and utilizing departmental teamwork to analyze results.
  • Tracking, data mining, and reporting key results for brand strategy and marketing campaigns.
  • Overseeing content and messaging on Brand-related websites (e.g., Fan Fest, Rip City Rally, Tune In, City Edition).
  • Organizing and tracking inventory of giveaways and prizes.
  • Scheduling and managing marketing assets and placements of advertising.
  • Helping present the organization's brand identity, values, and campaigns to new employees during onboarding.
  • Providing general support to the Fan Development and Brand Impact team and organization as needed.

  • Have demonstrated experience in marketing, hospitality, events or related field.
  • Have proven project management skills with the ability to balance multiple timelines, details, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Are a great teammate with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with community members.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication.
