Role Overview

As a Branch Operations Manager, you will ensure the branch operates efficiently and securely, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting team development. Your responsibilities include managing risk controls, ensuring compliance, enhancing customer experience, and overseeing daily operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
  • Oversee risk management, including vault and ATM security.
  • Deliver personalized and seamless customer service.
  • Manage the lobby and customer flow effectively.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and build strong relationships.
  • Engage customers through digital platforms and educate on self-service options.
  • Conduct cash counts and maintain accurate logs.
  • Support tellers and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Communicate effectively across all channels.
  • Use data to improve branch performance.
  • Support colleagues' development and career goals.
  • Potentially support nearby branches as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of successful experience in branch banking or related operations, or 12 months with relevant Santander experience.
  • Endorsement from District or Regional leadership.
  • 18+ months of cash handling and customer service experience in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in cash handling, digital tools, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Compensation
