We're seeking a hands-on Branch Manager to lead operations and sales execution at our distribution facility. This role is responsible for warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory control, employee development, and leading our inside sales team. You'll play a key role in driving efficiency, service levels, and branch-level revenue growth.
This is a high-accountability leadership position, ideal for someone with deep industry knowledge, strong operational discipline, and a passion for team development.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational LeadershipOversee all branch functions: warehouse, receiving, shipping, inventory control, production recognition, quality control (QC), total quality management (TQM), and storage.
Set performance standards and enforce accountability across all shifts.
Manage staffing, training, and cross-functional development.
Ensure order accuracy, safety compliance, and timely customer fulfillment.
Serve as the primary operational contact for key customers and project shipments.
Lead the inside sales team, including quoting, order entry, follow-ups, and service excellence.
Enforce consistency in sales processes, quote turnaround times, and customer communications.
Collaborate with the Corporate Sales Manager to drive local sales growth.
Align with corporate pricing strategies and customer prioritization.
Standardize branch procedures in line with company best practices.
Support planning, purchasing, and inventory optimization.
Identify and implement improvements to increase speed, accuracy, and profitability.
Ensure proper staffing of drivers and warehouse floor personnel.
Oversee HR-related responsibilities including hiring, training, and terminations.
7+ years of experience in branch operations or sales leadership within construction fasteners, industrial distribution, or related sectors.
Strong knowledge of threaded rod, anchors, and project-based construction supply.
Proven leadership in team building, KPI enforcement, and employee development.
Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems-you are data-driven and process-oriented.
High personal integrity, a strong sense of ownership, and a direct communication style.
