Box Builder - OpSource Staffing : Job Details

Job # : 154342 Title : Box Builder Location : Spartanburg, SC Salary Range : $14.00 Position : Assembly Description : OpSource Staffing is hiring for Box Builders/Assemblers at a packaging facility located in Spartanburg, SC. ***Company has eligibility to be hired on permanently at 60 DAYS!!!***Essential Job Functions: This position is responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of product (boxes and other packaging material) in accordance with customer-approved specifications. This position is responsible for ensuring that all products assembled are of a high quality. 1. Responsible to work safely to assemble packaging materials 2. Ensure the quality of all assembled product meets the customers' expectations by performing all required quality checks according to the company Quality Policy. 3. Work in the most efficient manner to meet key operational goals. 4. Participate in TPS activities; including Kaizen exercises. 5. Trouble shoot quality issues; seek Supervisor if the issue cannot be resolved. 6. Work with supervisor to develop corrective actions to any NCR's written against the work cell. 7. Check all incoming stock against the factory card or SWI prior to machine set-up. 8. Ensure that all Load tags, Finished and Component Inventories, are accurate 9. Review all Factory cards or Standard Work Instructions for accuracy. Fill out item change request if necessary. 10. Monitor and record all waste off machine on Production Schedule. Notify Supervisor if waste levels are excessive. 11. Accurately fill in all information of the Assembly First Checks Sheet. 12. Ensure that all their timecards are correct. 13. Record all required information on Production Schedule. Note the reasons for any inefficiencies. 14. Submit NCRs for all rejected or non-conforming material. 15. Record all required information into HRMS. 16. Assure that the work cell, and it's surrounding area, are properly cleaned at the end of each shift. 17. Any other duties assigned by supervisor. **Facility is not climate controlled. It can be very hot and humid inside** 1st Shift: Monday--Friday, 5:00am--3:30pm, some Saturdays may be required.
