Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable and weekly check runs
  • Enter and code bills, credit card charges, and vendor payments
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve payment inquiries
  • Enter sales orders, create invoices, and apply customer payments
  • Respond to customer billing questions
  • Record journal entries and ensure accurate general ledger coding
  • Reconcile intercompany transactions and bank statements
  • Process payroll through QuickBooks Desktop
  • Handle payroll tax filings and maintain confidential payroll records
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and ad hoc reports
  • Maintain organized, up-to-date accounting records
    • Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting
  • Proven bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
