Bookkeeper for Specialty Coffee Roastery & Cafe

As we continue to grow, were seeking a skilled part-time bookkeeper to help keep our financial systems running smoothly.

About the Role

Were looking for a detail-oriented, experienced Bookkeeper to handle day-to-day and monthly accounting tasks. This is a part-time position with flexible hours and the option to work remotely. The ideal candidate has experience managing books for hospitality and/or consumer packaged goods businesses and is proficient in QuickBooks Online.

Key Responsibilities

Weekly Tasks:

Manage accounts receivable: charge autopay customers and send invoices with terms

Process accounts payable: enter bills and schedule payments

Record deposits from Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, and cash/checks

Categorize and match transactions in QuickBooks Online

Process payroll: enter hours and tips, ensure timely payroll submission

Monthly Tasks:

File and pay Arizona state sales tax

Reconcile bank and credit card accounts

Intercompany coffee sales

Monthly inventory adjustments (green coffee, packaging, labels)

Generate and review financial reports (P&L, A/R Aging, A/P Aging)

Quarterly Tasks:

Assist with inventory reconciliation (green coffee, caf and roastery merchandise)

Prepare quarterly financial reports

Requirements

Experience with QuickBooks Online is required

Prior bookkeeping experience inhospitality and/or consumer packaged goodsindustries

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Clear communication and ability to meet regular deadlines

Comfortable working independently and proactively
