Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and oversee accurate financial records of company transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, with a focus on scalability and efficiency.
- Manage client and vendor invoicing, ensuring timely payments while addressing and resolving any discrepancies as we expand operations.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, credit card accounts, and vendor accounts to ensure accuracy and credibility in reporting.
- Support payroll operations, including calculating employee hours, managing payroll schedules, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Track company expenses, flag variances, and work collaboratively with the leadership team on cost efficiency initiatives in line with growth goals.
- Collaborate with acquisition teams to integrate new entities into financial processes and accurately track costs associated with growth.
- Deliver timely and actionable monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management that provide insights critical to strategic decision-making.
- Identify and implement improvements in day-to-day accounting operations to meet the demands of a fast-growing and acquisition-focused business environment.
- Maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations in a multi-entity structure while supporting audit-related processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, and CRM systems are highly preferred.
- Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
