BOOKKEEPER NEEDED IN SUFFERN, NY FULL TIME OR PART TIME - ONSITE OR HYBRID
- Looking for an organized Bookkeeper/ Office Assistant to assist in managing our day-to-day accounting/finance requirements and the administrative aspects of running our business
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers
- Match purchase orders with invoices
- Coordinate bank deposits and report financial results on a regular basis to management
- Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts
- Pay vendor invoices and track bank account balances
- Develop monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets
- Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns, along with payroll, operating and business taxes
- Answer phone system and direct calls as required
- Design and maintain filing and storage systems in the office
- Greet clients and vendors upon arrival and direct them to appropriate offices
- Maintain office supply inventory
- Retrieve documents and files when requested
- Read and route incoming mail and process outgoing mail
- Create, edit, and update spreadsheet reports for customer programs
