Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual with proven experience in bookkeeping, data entry, and accounting processes. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks, capable of managing day-to-day accounts receivable and payable, and experienced in inventory tracking and reconciliation. This role requires accuracy, reliability, and strong organizational skills to support the financial operations of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate daily bookkeeping and accounting tasks
  • Record and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Enterprise Desktop
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and vendor payments
  • Maintain and update inventory records, perform periodic reconciliations, and monitor stock levels
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures
  • Coordinate with the CPA or external accountant for tax filings and year-end closing
  • Handle data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
  • Experience with inventory management systems and product-based accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Skills (Not Required):

  • Experience in retail, manufacturing, or e-commerce
  • Familiarity with other accounting software or ERP systems
