The Back of House (BOH) Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of daily restaurant activities. Key responsibilities include staffing, prep, managing service pace, and maintaining health and safety standards. The BOH Manager will also oversee staff training, inventory management, and compliance with food service guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean facility and coordinate repairs as needed
  • Store, rotate, and organize ingredients properly
  • Execute maintenance schedules for equipment
  • Perform inventory counts and manage deliveries
  • Prepare the cook line and assist with cooking duties
  • Hire, train, and manage kitchen staff, collaborating with the FOH manager
  • Open and close the restaurant following established procedures
  • Address customer needs and resolve issues
  • Report injuries among team members and guests
  • Enforce food quality and safety standards
Position Requirements
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations
  • At least 1 year of management and kitchen experience
  • Proficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office
  • Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent people skills and guest orientation
  • Focus on cleanliness and safety
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • Valid driver's license
  • Weekend availability
  • ServSafe Certification preferred
