Save-A-Bull Rescue of Minnesota is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of pit bulls from homelessness, neglect, injury, and abuse. By partnering with volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians, and trainers, we provide these dogs with a second chance by finding them loving forever homes.

Role Description

This is an opportunity to volunteer as a Member at Large on our Board of Directors. The Member at Large will be responsible for participating in bi-monthly board meetings (6 per year), providing strategic guidance, and supporting the organization's mission. The Term is 3 years with up to 2 consecutive terms.

Qualifications

• Leadership, Strategic Planning, and Decision-making skills
• Experience or Interest in non-profit management or board governance
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Knowledge of animal welfare and advocacy is a plus
• Previous experience on a non-profit board is a plus
• Ability to attend meetings and events as needed
• Commitment to Save-A-Bull Rescue of Minnesota's mission and values
