Blending Team Member - Calumet : Job Details

PURPOSE:The Blending Team Member position is responsible for preparing blends according to formulations and procedures developed by the lab.KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* Ensure efficient execution of the Blend or Bulk fluids schedule* Prepare blends according to formulations and procedures developed by the lab* Responsible for the accuracy of all base oil and additive inventory* Inventory count and reconciliation* Coordinate with maintenance to ensure adequate time is allotted for scheduled maintenance and/or repairs* Organize warehouse for cleanliness and safety at all times* Maintain all safety standards, including wearing PPE as required* Initiate corrective and preventative actions as needed* Supports the strategic and operational direction of the business* Additional duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:* High School Diploma or GED* Minimum of six months experience in a blending/packaging role* Basic computer literacy* Basic math skills* Must be able to work any shift* Must be able to pass pre-employment assessment* Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job including physical lifting of up to 50 lbs.PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCES:* SAP experienceCOMPETENCIES:* Must be capable of working in a team environment* Excellent organizational skills* Work with minimal supervision* Self-motivated and detailed-oriented* Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the company* Fosters positive work relationships and is a solid team player* Able to complete projects in a timely manner and get results* Demonstration of Calumet Values - Safety, Environment & Social Responsibility, Teamwork, Ownership, Passion for Customers, and Excellence
