About The Role

The Data Capture Specialist I is responsible for conducting operations utilizing drones, wheeled vehicles, various payloads, and Zeitview's proprietary software to collect imagery for critical infrastructure. The primary focus is to ensure industry leadership in image & data capture, emphasizing safety, remote operator training, mission planning, equipment forecasting, regulatory compliance, and logistical support. The role requires the ability to work independently in field environments and may include training or supporting special projects.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct operations with high safety standards in accordance with industry best practices.
  • Complete data collection, initially focusing on wind turbine blade inspections, expanding to other energy infrastructure as needed, maintaining high standards with minimal defects.
  • Support operations across multiple verticals.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on technology performance.
  • Determine collection strategies based on project requirements.
  • Operate and diagnose remotely controlled equipment in challenging conditions.
  • Maintain and publish current statuses using mission tools.
  • Assist in developing operations training and workflows.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to meet operational needs.
  • Travel to remote job sites across the United States.
Qualifications
  • Experience with complex data capture techniques.
  • Global Wind Organization certification or willingness to obtain it.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability to different working environments.
  • Experience managing client Scope of Work (SOW) objectives.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
  • Comfort working outdoors year-round.
  • Willingness to submit to drug screens and background checks.
