Completes customer surveys gathering necessary information to create sales proposals, scope of service, and resources needed to complete work.

Educates customers on structural or other issues creating opportunities for bird infestation.

Serves as a knowledge expert on bird infestation.

Works with district managers to identify and assign resources to complete work.

Leads and participates in completing service work, trains and coaches service specialists to ensure work is completed according to required standards and protocols, including using specialized equipment such as lifts.

Collaborates with cross-divisional partners, district managers, and service specialists to achieve annual sales goals by prospecting and obtaining bird management sales opportunities that prevent, deter, or eliminate birds from customer locations.

Provides customer-specific training to service specialists in sectors such as Food Retail, F&B, FSR, QSR, hospitality, and healthcare.

Follows up with customers after work completion to ensure satisfaction and collects payments.

Completes ongoing training for license certification in multiple states and specialized safety and lift certifications.

Keeps updated on regulatory changes and Ecolab's product/service offerings to ensure quality bird management.

Maintains a safe driving record and adheres to safe work practices.

Basic Requirements
  • At least 1 year of bird management service and sales experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work or military experience.
  • Lift certification or ability to obtain within one month of start.
  • Ability to work at heights over 100 feet.
  • Frequent travel required, up to 75% overnight.
  • Ability to lift/carry 70 pounds.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
  • Possess or be able to obtain multiple state certifications and business licenses.
  • Meet state pesticide applicator certification/licensing requirements.
  • Proficient in reading and writing English.
  • Flexible schedule including day, night, or a combination shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Experience in bird netting installation and trapping birds/wildlife with mist nets or other devices.

Compensation & Benefits

The total compensation range is $82,000-$123,000, including base pay and incentives, depending on experience, education, training, and location. Ecolab offers comprehensive benefits. Details available on our website.
