ResponsibilitiesThe Biomed Technician I performs maintenance and repair duties under close supervision of BSI management. This role is the front-line employee most visible to clinicians using patient care equipment in the Medical Equipment Management Program. Responsibilities include installing, testing, calibrating, and repairing biomedical equipment to support patient diagnosis and treatment while ensuring safe operations. Availability for after-hours work and on-call rotating schedules is required. The technician also ensures equipment compliance with regulatory standards and quality control. This position relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
