Responsibilities

The Biomed Site Lead is responsible for all aspects of service within her/his assigned account, including the professional administration of the Equipment Management Program. This role is crucial to the success of the BSI Equipment Management Program, with all duties and responsibilities filtered through the Biomed Site Lead. The facility's impression of the program's success or failure depends directly on this position. Professionalism, proactive problem-solving, and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience OR Associate's degree plus 5 years of experience.
  • Competent in using all applicable test equipment and tools required for duties.
  • High self-motivation, commitment, and integrity.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of TJC, DNV, HFAP, CAP, NFPA, CMS, HIPAA, and other standards and regulations.
  • Strong leadership, team-building, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning, organization, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and recommend solutions.
  • Good business skills, confidentiality, maturity, tactfulness, and ethics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to write reports and present on operational and technical issues.
  • Proficient in MS Office, clinical applications, and CMMS systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics, and blueprints.
  • Technical certifications (e.g., A+, CBET, CCE, CHTM) preferred.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
