• Performs repairs, calibrations, PM/safety testing on basic to intermediate medical devices
• Provides ON-CALL emergency services with minimum assistance and supervision
• Participates in equipment evaluation, and incoming inspection
• Has thorough understanding of electrical safety as it applies to all patient conditions as well as the medical device user
• Completely understands, carries out, and enforces departmental safety
• Other duties as assigned or directed by Supervisor

Experience and Education requirements:

• Preferably 3-5 years repair/PM experience in a hospital setting
• Knowledge of human physiology
• Strong communication skills
• Working knowledge of electrical safety as applies to hospital setting
• A.A.S degree in medical electronics or similar discipline
