Your Impact as the Billing SpecialistThe Billing Specialist provides billing expertise and assists in revenue generation, accounts receivable tracking and monitoring, internal compliance audits, general accounting duties, and maintenance of Agency's consumer database.

• Perform billing and accounts receivable activities
• Assist in maintaining, developing and ensuring data integrity of the agency consumer database systems
• Perform general accounting tasks and reporting responsibilities
• Adheres to The Summit Center Core Agency Values of Adaptability, Accountability, Collaboration, Integrity, Optimism, and Respect

• Perform any other duties as requested by your supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Associates Degree in Accounting
• 2 year's experience in a Medicaid, 3rd party billing environment, SED or in DOH-EI
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite, particularly Excel spreadsheets
• Strong knowledge of accounting systems required
