Responsibilities include:
- Processing daily medical and dental billing for patients.
- Following up on insurance claim denials and discrepancies.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements related to FQHC billing.
- Collaborating with third-party payers to resolve billing issues.
- Responding to inquiries from insurance companies, patients, and providers.
- Scanning and maintaining all financial documents in patient records.
- Coordinating with the Revenue Cycle Manager on billing adjustments.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in medical or dental billing or working with patient accounts.
- Proficiency in operating computers and accessing insurance portals.
- Organized, friendly, dependable, and able to work under pressure.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in clerical duties and professional communication.
- Prerequisites include a background check and drug test.
