Billing Customer Service Representative - Medix : Job Details

Company Information Our client company is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team as Billing Customer Service Representatives. Job Summary Our client is looking to hire Billing Customer Service Representatives who will be responsible for handling patient inquiries and complaints regarding their bills. This role involves managing phone calls and correspondence, addressing patient issues, understanding Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), and maintaining patient account updates. Key Responsibilities

• Manage patient inquiries and complaints received via phone or customer service calls regarding billing issues.
• Ensure timely documentation collection from network providers and patients to adhere to quality standards.
• Take inbound calls and handle patient questions related to their bills.
• Understand and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to assist patients effectively.
• Update and maintain accurate records of patient accounts.

Experience

• Experience in understanding Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) is required for this role.
