The Opportunity

As a Billing Coordinator, you will be responsible for drafting and finalizing client invoices for a group of attorneys.

The Day-To-Day

  • Coordinate with Partners, Attorneys, and Secretaries to manage time entries, edits, adjustments, write-downs, rate management, and bill posting.
  • Work with the e-billing team to ensure timely submission of electronic invoices.
  • Prepare and process high-quality invoices, customize formats as required, perform override calculations, and review for accuracy.
  • Coordinate follow-up on outstanding WIP and receivables, addressing aged unbilled fees and costs.
  • Assist Collections team with payment reconciliation.
  • Provide basic financial data and analysis.
  • Collaborate with billers and attorneys in other offices as needed.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years of legal billing experience.
  • Experience with Aderant strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
