Billing Coordinator III

The Billing Coordinator III is responsible for becoming familiar with the organization's systems and making recommendations to modify or develop new procedures to meet specialized needs of the customers or business users. Daily auditing and verification review ofthe expense paid and/or weekly billing of individual clients is required. Preparing and maintaining audit documents for accuracy both operationally and contractually. Excellent communication skills are needed in order to interface with operating locations, internal functional departments and clients.

Essential functions include: auditing manifests daily by verification of notes and adding revenue and reviewing expense to be paid, using the Customer Weekly Report, assigning invoices to clients daily and/or weekly, understanding the contract for each client assigned, maintaining client contract files and performing audits as assigned by supervisor, maintaining client billing instruction documentation, training as backup for other clients in the event another Billing Specialist is out of the office, communicating with field operations either via email or phone for clarification, researching any discrepancies or previous billings of an order to ensure accuracy, and other duties as assigned.

Skills and abilities include good written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with minimum supervision, ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, excellent customer service skills, ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines, and computer literate with general knowledge of software to include Microsoft Office Suite required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma/GED required and computer literate with general knowledge of software to include Microsoft Office Suite required.

Compensation Information: The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type. Compensation ranges for the position are below:

Pay Type: Hourly

Minimum Pay Range: $21.00

Maximum Pay Range: $21.00
