Bid Manager - Bristol Search : Job Details

Due to the expansion of the business, KeTech Security Systems is looking for an experienced Bid Manager to support their CCTV, Access, Fire PA/VA business.

• Responsible for daily estimation of contracts, reporting directly to the General Manager.
• Preparation of estimates for CCTV, Fire, Security, Access PA/VA, etc., on a daily basis.
• Coordinate with the sales department.
• Liaise with customers to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Business Development team of 2As Ltd to find new opportunities.
• Ensure timely completion of all inquiries to a high standard.
• Provide technical support to the General Manager.
• Engage with customers at commercial and technical levels.
• Attend sales meetings to identify opportunities.
• Source equipment, request quotations, and evaluate products from suppliers.
• Identify new supply streams where applicable.

• At least 5 years of experience in the design and delivery of security and fire systems.
• Knowledge of contract terms, Quality Management Systems, and person management skills.
• Ability to read specifications and drawings, perform take-offs, and prepare system designs.
• Experience in technical proposal writing and understanding of HVAC Security Markets.
• Experience with CCTV, Fire, Access, Intruder, PA/VA systems preferred.
• Familiarity with the security industry, design standards, and CCTV technologies including Panasonic & Bosch, IP networks.
• Knowledge of EN European Standards and ACPO legislation, NSI/SSAIB certifications.
