About the Role

InterSystems DACH is hiring a Bid Manager with proven capability of delivering winning bids under tight deadlines.

Reporting to the Healthcare Sales Director, the Bid Manager will oversee the end-to-end bid process for InterSystems' healthcare products, including HealthShare solutions and IRIS for Health. This role is based at our Darmstadt office, initially five days a week for the first three months, then transitioning to three days per week.

  • Experience managing high-value bids within tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable working at all organizational levels
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility regarding travel and working hours
Responsibilities
  • Identify relevant formal tender notices for our products and services
  • Manage the bid qualification process (go/no-go decision)
  • Lead virtual bid teams and coordinate inputs from stakeholders across sales, marketing, product, finance, legal, and delivery
  • Track and manage risks throughout the bid process
  • Contribute to proposal writing and presentation
  • Ensure timely, compliant, and commercially sound bid submissions
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, handle conflicts constructively, and treat all colleagues with respect
Experience
  • Proven success in delivering complex product and service bids, especially in Healthcare
  • Background in solutions and services, with experience managing bid campaigns from opportunity identification to project delivery
  • Comfort working with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Knowledge of the healthcare marketplace and ability to manage multi-workstream opportunities
  • Understanding of internal governance procedures
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, remain positive under pressure, and assess risks effectively
  • High standards for accuracy, thoroughness, and completeness
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and personal development
  • Fluency in English and German
