BI Consultant - Sigma & Snowflake - RIT Solutions : Job Details

Role: BI Consultant - Sigma & Snowflake Location: Remote (Must work EST hours) Duration: 6 Months Overview Our client, a leading management consulting firm, is seeking a BI Consultant with expertise in Sigma and Snowflake to support a high-impact data reporting and analytics initiative for a global client with operations across the East Coast and Amsterdam. The project involves designing and delivering advanced business intelligence solutions, and requires strong communication skills, domain knowledge, and the ability to work across time zones. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Sigma Computing
• Create and optimize data models in Snowflake to ensure performance and data integrity
• Support additional reporting needs using Power BI and integrate with other platforms
• Collaborate with business stakeholders in the US (EST) and Amsterdam to gather requirements and align solutions with business goals
• Translate complex data into actionable insights using visual storytelling and best practices in analytics
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility across BI platforms
• Manage stakeholder expectations while working in cross-functional, globally distributed teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in BI development and data visualization
• Proven expertise with:
  • Sigma Computing
  • Snowflake
  • Power BI
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of simplifying complex technical concepts
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to thrive in a fast-paced consulting environment
• Experience in the asset management domain is strongly preferred
