BHS Inpatient Social Worker - A-Line Staffing Solutions : Job Details

The Social Worker works with the psychiatrist and interdisciplinary team in developing and managing treatment plans. Serves as liaison in relation to patient care and needs, between the hospital, community, and insurers to facilitate access to clinical treatment for individuals. Provides social services to both adult and child/adolescent patients, including bio-psychosocial assessments, discharge planning, individual and family education, and group therapy. Provides individual, conjoint, group, and family psychotherapy, as well as crisis intervention services, as needed. Ensures that the quality of care is safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable. Serves on designated committees and may serve as a field instructor for social work.
