Role OverviewÂ

As the Make Ready Technician, youâ ll have a big mission. If you choose to accept it, your mission will be to ensure that all vacant apartment units are restored timely to market-ready status. This position will also perform general repairs and assist in the overall maintenance of the interior and exterior of the property. Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal and external customer. Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner. You also understand the value of taking a moment to express gratitude to the village that helped to make it happen. Seasonal Time Frame: July 2025 to August 16, 2025

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ

• Inspectâ ¯the condition of allâ ¯units prior to starting repairs to include, but not limited to; walls, appliances, electrical, plumbing, windows/doors and filters.Â

• Walks all vacant units to determine make-ready needs; ensures all trash from apartments are cleaned out before, during and after make-ready activity.Â

• Perform generalâ ¯repairs/upkeep to vacant units prior to move-in and within company standards/guidelines; completes required updates onâ ¯service needs and coordinate regularly with the property team.â ¯Â

• Responsible for the daily upkeep of the grounds and appearance of the property and general repair/replacements for common areas as neededâ ¯Â

• May assist with hazardous weather problems, fires, floods, snow removal, freezes, etc.Â

• Assists with monitoring of resident satisfaction and ensures follow up on the results by property maintenance staff.Â

• Completes other work ordersÂ

You Have Â

• General maintenance and safety experience knowledgeâ ¯Â

• Knowledge of building maintenance and repairÂ

• Required to provide own (industry specific) hand toolsÂ

• Basic computer skills/knowledge required to perform job functionsÂ

• Strong communication skillsâ ¯Â

• A valid driverâ s license and/or reliable transportationâ ¯requiredÂ

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervisionÂ

• A positive, team-oriented attitude, and ability to work with a diverse group of people and customersÂ

• Regular attendance, punctuality and dependability requiredÂ

• General knowledge/experience with all major types of heating and air conditioning is a plus.Â

• Working knowledge of Microbial Growth is a plus.Â

Physical Requirements/Environment: The physical requirements described here represent those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully. Â

• Lifting up to 50 pounds.Â

• Full range of motion with upper and lower body. Continuous movement, including, but not limited to, standing, walking, bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing stairs.Â

• Ability to work with both hands for frequent grasping and manipulation.Â

• Push or pull items and reach overhead.Â

• Operation of a motor vehicle onsite, if applicable.Â

• Exposure to all weather conditions.Â
