Job Description Summary:
The Beverage Specialist will develop cocktail programs and conduct internal and external trainings to drive and maximize our Company's position in both top market and national accounts and the Los Angeles Hotel marketplace.

Job Responsibilities:
Drive priority brands in the market thru visibility, education, and advocacy, as well as Company's overall portfolio in target accounts.
Develop cocktail concepts and strategies to help support Innovation Launches and support sales staff.
Identify selling opportunities as supplemental support to sales team.
Identify and Communicate Competitive Activities.
Participate and/or lead categItory training modules to the sales teams.
Assist Management with projects and events including
Planning, coordinating, and executing key Company events.
Execute pre-appointment account interactions such as planning calls, ingredient production (syrups, infusions, etc.), product requisition.
The executive team and Suppliers in use of alchemy room(s) for events and dinners.
Train bartenders, as appropriate, for events.
All special projects to enhance supplier and customer relations.
Manage the alchemy room(s)
Maintain inventories of liquor, non-alcohol products, mixers, produce, and tools.
Ensure the room(s) is organized and neat.
Organize and communicate activity weekly thru meetings and tracking forms.
Develop and maintain industry connections and knowledge
Attend and participate in national and local events.
Connect and form relationships with the local IL mixology community.
Continually learn the most recent industry, channel, and brand knowledge.
Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's supervisor, may also be required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Sales and Bartending experience, preferably in a broad range of channels (Craft Cocktail, High Volume, Hotel, Country Club)
Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
Must be a results-oriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion as well as customer service skills
Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
Analytic and Reporting skills
Utilize sound judgement and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
Ability to develop and deliver cocktails with little to no notice
Ability to execute large-scale cocktail driven events - up to 2,000 people
Preferred Qualifications:
5-7 years of managing a Beverage Program or Bartending/Mixology
Previous experience cocktail costing, inventory, menu creation, P&L analysis, budgeting, batching, staff training, etc.
A proficient knowledge of elevated-execution beverage techniques including but not limited to frozen cocktails, infusions, smoking, barrel aging, clarifying, creating foams, garnishes. Etc.

Salary and Benefit Statement:
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, and prior relevant experience.
Compensation
$64,320.00 - $87,060.00 Salary Range
15% Annual Bonus
Mileage Reimbursement at 70 cents per Business Miles driven
