Benefits Representative - Weis Markets : Job Details

The associate is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:Administer associate benefit programs, including health insurance, wellness programs, voluntary plans, HIPP, Medicaid, Medicare and other associate perks within Workday. Process benefit enrollments, changes, qualifying life events and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements in Workday and vendor databases. Work closely with HR and payroll departments to ensure seamless integration of benefits-related processes with payroll deductions, arrears, recoup and refunds by providing EIB to adjust contributions. Collaborate with external benefit providers and insurance broker to manage benefit plans and resolve associate inquiries or vendor discrepancies. Provide education and guidance to associates on available benefits, helping them make informed decisions based on their needs and preferences.
