The Benefits Manager will be instrumental in designing, implementing, managing, and communicating compensation and benefit programs. Reporting to the Head of Rewards and Data Analytics, you will be an essential part of the HR team, contributing to the alignment of the company's reward philosophy with its broader business goals.*Client Details*Our client is a global financial services with 800 employees worldwide. The NYC HQ is based in Midtown, Manhattan. *Description*Responsibilities of the Benefits Manager include:Benefits* Participate in the annual review of benefits, suggesting additions, changes, or removals of benefit plans; assist in negotiating renewals and new contracts.* Oversee the daily management of global benefit programs, including 401(k), health and welfare plans (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, wellness, FSA, executive benefits, etc.).* Work with Finance, Payroll, and vendors on the administration, reporting, and analysis of benefit programs.* Manage relationships with vendors, including monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure excellent service and outcomes.Compensation* Assist the Head of Rewards and Data Analytics in creating compensation plans that balance internal fairness, market competitiveness, and the organization's financial capacity.* Help manage annual and special compensation processes, including salary reviews, bonus distributions, and market benchmarking.* Oversee HR's compensation system to leverage technology and ensure high-quality service delivery.* Aid in developing metrics to assess the effectiveness of the organization's compensation programs.* Monitor and report on important issues, regulations, practices, and trends in compensation that may affect the organization.* Support HR business partners during recruitment by analyzing and recommending competitive compensation packages for prospective employees.*Profile*Qualifications of the Benefits Manager include:* Bachelor's degree required.* Demonstrated experience in rewards management preferably within a Financial Services or Professional Services institution.* Extensive experience in designing and administering compensation and benefits programs.* Strong analytical skills, along with project and process management capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.* Proficiency in Excel.* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong consultative and client service abilities, and the capacity to communicate effectively at all organizational levels, from the CEO and Board to managers and employees.* Ability to handle multiple high-priority tasks, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.* Ability to identify opportunities and recommend solutions for process improvement and automation.* High ethical standards, discretion, and the ability to handle highly confidential HR work.* Preferred experience in managing and developing HR systems and/or HR reporting.*Job Offer** Base salary range $140,000 - $170,000 commensurate on experience, annual discretionary bonus* Vacation/Annual Leave: 26 days* Private medical and dental insurance, and life insurance* 401(k) match* Paid volunteer days* Hybrid working model with 2 days per week onsite in the Manhattan office* Paid parental leave along with coaching and support services* Wellbeing and mental health supportMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
