LHH is seeking a Benefits Administrator for a leading retail brand located in the heart of Tysons Corner, VA. They are known for delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering a vibrant, team-oriented culture. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a detail-driven and people-focused Benefits Administrator to support the HR team and ensure employees receive the best possible care and support. Position Summary The Benefits Administrator will manage and coordinate all employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies, and wellness initiatives. This role is essential in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience across our retail locations. Key Responsibilities

  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), and leave of absence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution
  • Coordinate open enrollment processes and benefits orientations for new hires
  • Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate benefits deductions
  • Work with vendors and brokers to manage plan renewals, claims, and reporting
  • Support wellness initiatives and employee engagement programs
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and compliance filings (e.g., ACA, COBRA, HIPAA)
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in benefits administration, preferably in a retail or multi-site environment
  • Strong knowledge of benefits laws and regulations (ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Workday, ADP, or similar HRIS platforms
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
  • Familiarity with retail workforce dynamics and seasonal staffing
