Behavior Technician (TA) - School Based - Zen Educate : Job Details

*Limited Positions - Now hiring for the 2025–2026 school year. *School Year begins in August***We are hiring full-time Behavior Technicians (TAs) for the 2025–2026 school year to support K–12 students with special needs. If you have experience in behavior management and a desire to help students succeed, this role offers a chance to make a daily impact. *Connect with our team today to learn more about this school-based opportunity!*Join us as a SPED Behavior Technician (TA) and apply your specialized skills to empower students, helping them overcome behavioral obstacles and access their education more effectively within a supportive school framework.*Responsibilities**- Assisting licensed staff in the classroom- Aid students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP)- Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning- Work with individuals and/or small groups when activities and assignments are presented- Provides support for students in crisis- Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student's learning experiences and support them as needed*Qualifications**- High School Diploma- 1+ Years Experience working with children - Applicants must have professional proficiency in English- US Work Authorization - Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.*Preferred Qualifications**- First Aid & CPR Certification- Previous experience working in special education- Crisis prevention training- PCA experience*Compensation & Benefits**Pay:* $18 - $21 per hour, paid weekly.*Schedule:* Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).*Benefits:**- Weekly pay- Paid Sick Leave- 401K (certain eligibility criteria)*Ready to get started?
