DV Therapy is seeking a compassionate and driven Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children with special needs, implementing ABA treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA and Program Manager. The ideal candidate is patient, detail-oriented, and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients and their families. Responsibilities:
- Implement skill-building programs and behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.
- Work directly with children in various settings to promote social communication, adaptive behaviors, and skill acquisition.
- Record and collect data to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans.
- Receive ongoing training and supervision to maintain best practices in ABA therapy.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all client confidentiality protocols.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure consistent implementation of treatment plans.
- Assist with the creation of stimuli and materials for therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; college coursework preferred.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
- CPR certification and TB test required.
- ABA experience preferred; RBT certification is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
