We are seeking a dynamic Director to lead our Before & After School Program at Beekman Elementary School in Poughquag, NY. As the Director, you will oversee all aspects of the program, ensuring compliance, engaging children in activities, managing staff, and maintaining communication with parents.

• Job Status: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
• Pay: $17.00 per hour

• Ensure compliance with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and school rules.
• Lead engaging activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, including fitness, STEAM, arts, and homework help.
• Manage attendance, registration, staffing, and program operations.
• Communicate regularly with parents via the Playground App.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Qualifications include:

• Two years of college with 18 credits in Child Development, Education, or related fields and experience working with children under 13, including supervisory experience.
• Or a NY State Childrens Program Administrator Credential with relevant experience.
• Or a School-Age Child Care Credential with relevant experience.
• Or an Associates degree in a related field with relevant experience.

• Medical fitness, including absence of communicable diseases.
• Warm, friendly, professional, and reliable demeanor.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and keep up with energetic children.
