The Y in Central Maryland seeks a dedicated BASE Site Manager responsible for overseeing all on-site operations of a licensed center serving 30+ participants. The role includes ensuring children are engaged in safe, enriching activities, communicating with stakeholders such as school administration, staff, and parents, and implementing the monthly curriculum. The manager also supervises on-site staff, including aides, teachers, and volunteers.

Essential Functions:

• Manage overall operations and quality of the BASE program
• Ensure safety, supervision, and adherence to policies, regulations, and standards including OCC and DHMH
• Participate in school and community events to promote the program
• Drive and maintain enrollment levels
• Engage parents monthly and coordinate outside service projects
• Support fundraising efforts such as Send a Kid to Camp and Turkey Trot
• Assist in training new site leaders and recruiting staff
• Lead staff meetings and participate in mandatory meetings and training
• Coach and train staff on regulations, policies, and standards
• Conduct performance reviews and support professional growth
• Implement program curriculum and conduct assessments
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and enforce rules
• Maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally with all stakeholders
• Understand emergency procedures and demonstrate computer proficiency
