Location Daytona Beach, FL Division Labor on Loan LOL-FL-VEHICLEPHOTO #186S Job Scope: We're hiring part-time independent contractor to support Manheim Auto Auction in Daytona Beach. This is an outdoor position assisting with jump-starting vehicles during auction day. You'll work directly with the Lane Leader to check vehicles and identify those needing a battery jump. A wheeled jumpbox will be provided to help you access vehicles efficiently across the lot. Job Responsibilities:

• Assist during auction day to ensure all vehicles are operational for the lanes.
• Work closely with the Lane Leader to identify vehicles that need jump-starts.
• Safely operate a battery jumpbox on wheels to jump-start vehicles throughout the auction lot.
• Perform battery checks and basic troubleshooting when needed.
• Maintain awareness of safety procedures while working around moving vehicles and in outdoor conditions.
• Ensure all assigned vehicles are ready and in place before and during the auction process.
• Communicate effectively with auction staff and follow instructions promptly.
• Handle equipment with care and report any malfunctions or concerns immediately.
• Remain on-site and available during the scheduled auction hours.

Qualifications:

• Experience in digital and computer processing a plus
• Basic computer software skills are preferred
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Valid drivers license and safe driving record required.
• Successful completion of background check and drug test
