What is the SLATE Battery Pack Plant?

SLATE Auto is an innovative electric vehicle start up. Re:Build has supported SLATE from it's very beginning. We collaborated with SLATE from the early design stages to deliver comprehensive, high performance battery packs as well as standard and extended-range high-voltage packs. Re:Build also partnered with SLATE to engineer four advanced thermoplastic components, including a first-of-its-kind, continuously reinforced fiberglass thermoplastic (CFRTP) truck bed.

Our plant is an embedded on-site facility under development at SLATE's Warsaw, IN production facility (you will work here). This 30,000 square foot operation will employ ~100 people, bringing to bear a highly coordinated supply chain and automated production equipment to assemble and test multiform battery packs for their revolutionary electric truck. As a crucial operating partner, the battery packs produced will feed seamlessly into SLATE's production operation.
