Job Title: BAS Project Executive

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

The BAS Project Executive is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of building automation projects. This position ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the company's high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The Project Executive will lead a team of project managers, engineers, and subcontractors while maintaining close client relationships and ensuring alignment with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive-level oversight of multiple BAS projects from concept through commissioning.
• Develop project execution strategies including scheduling, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
• Lead internal project teams and coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor project financials, performance metrics, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, local codes, and project specifications.
• Conduct contract negotiations, change order management, and client presentations.
• Support business development efforts, including project scoping, proposals, and estimates.
• Mentor junior project managers and engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in BAS, HVAC Controls, or MEP project management.
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-million-dollar commercial or institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of building systems integration (Tridium, BACnet, Modbus, etc.).
• Exceptional project planning, organizational, and financial management skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• PMP or LEED certification is a plus.
