The Bartender ensures customer and server drink orders are prepared in a timely manner according to established guidelines while maintaining bar cleanliness standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Supports a strong commitment to world class guest service and ensures a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience for restaurant patrons. Functions as locations expert on bar systems, recipes, procedures and knowledge of liquor, wine and beer served. Completes all training requirements. Greets bar guests promptly. Uses suggestive selling techniques. Records beverage order, enters order into computer system, prepares drink in accordance to established guidelines and delivers drink to guest. Monitors guests drinks to anticipate re-order requests. Collects monies owed and performs guest check accountability procedures; maintains a balanced Bar drawer; performs tip declaration activities.
