About the Role:

Armature Works Private Events is seeking dependable, team-oriented Barbacks to prepare for, and support our bartenders during high-end, sometimes high-energy private events. This role is important in ensuring seamless service, maintaining cleanliness, and keeping bars fully stocked and ready all to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Prepare and stock bar areas with garnishes, glassware, mixers, ice, and other bar essentials.
• Restock liquor, wine, beer, water, and bar supplies throughout events.
• Maintain cleanliness by clearing glassware as well as pulling and managing trash in a discreet manner.
• Support bartenders with setup and breakdown of the bar before and after events.
• Follow direction and remain attentive to the needs of your assigned bar.
• Maintain compliance with all service and safety standards.
• Organize and maintain the cleanliness of walk-in and beer coolers.
• When necessary, help flip or reset event spaces after the events end.

Scheduling & Availability

• The ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is key to this role.
• Although we host events 7 days a week here at Armature, sometimes more than one event each day, but most shifts are during evenings and weekends.
• A flexible schedule is available; let us know your availability up front so you are only scheduled when you are available, making it easy to work around school, another job, or other commitments.

Requirements & What We're Looking For:

• A team player with strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to stay focused and productive in a fast-paced, dynamic event environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• This role involves extended periods of standing, the ability to stand on feet and walk around for extended periods without breaks to sit, is vital.
• Flexible availability, including weekdays, weekends, holidays when needed as well as daytime and evening events
• Dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Be comfortable being able to lift and move 50 lbs.
