Bandsaw Operator - Qualified Staffing Search Group : Job Details

Experienced CNC Machine Operator position available in Tupelo, MS. This is a 1st shift position (Monday-Friday - 7:00 am-4:30 pm; Maybe required to work on Saturday if needed. Candidate will perform various tasks to cut foam safely and efficiently on CNC. Basic Computer Skills, ability to read and interpret measurements, basic math skills including fractions are needed to perform tasks effectively. Responsibilities. Obtain production orders daily. Sort the orders out by due date, with the oldest orders scheduled first, management may make changes to daily schedule to meet production needs. Push pull and lift block to platform. Inspect block for any defects before and after cuts are made. Insert appropriate program based on order into control panel on CNC. Must be able to use and interpret a tape measure and use basic math skills including decimals and fractions. Inspect all product after cuts are made.
