Baler Operator - Denton - Goodwill : Job Details

Job Title: BalerLocations: Store #23 Denton --- 2030 West University Drive, Denton, Texas Salary: $14.25 per hourWork Hours: FT (40 Hrs. per Week) Days and hours vary; 2 Days Off per WeekBenefits: Company paid basic term life, Paid Time Off, voluntary medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and 401(k)General Job Duties: Safely load baling equipment and create bales of credential, salvage or recyclable product; move bales to staging area and/or trailer; ability to meet established daily production quotas. Operate Material Handling supplies such as but not limited to: pallet jacks, 2-wheel trucks, bins, gaylords, pallets. Move product to and from designated areas. Performs all necessary cleaning functions in all areas of the work environment. Skills/Qualifications: Read, write and possess good math skills. Team player mentality with the ability to meet daily, weekly and monthly goals/quotasPhysical Requirements: Walking, stooping, standing, reaching 6 feet (or can with ladder), pulling, pushing, lifting 50 pounds on a consistent basis, some heavier lifting pulling and/or pushing required at times; Good physical stamina. Ability to work in a production setting which includes noise, some extremes in temperature and dust. Open availability to work varying schedule of 5 to 8-hour days weekly based on needs of store. Ability to communicate clearly with other team members and other individuals. Must be able to work standing for prolonged periods of time.
