We're seeking experienced FEDERAL Background Investigators to join our team in the Amarillo, TX area as contract Investigators. Responsibilities include supporting national security and suitability investigations, focusing on background investigations for government clients. • Providing casework to IC Investigators
• Flexible schedule as an Independent Contractor
• No restrictions or anti-compete clauses in contracts
• Ongoing mentoring and training, with in-person support
• Personalized feedback and support

• Completion of an approved OPM/NTS investigator program
• At least 2-3 years of federal background investigation experience
• Age 18+, US Citizen
• Active TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and ability to travel
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficiency with computers and software
• Ability to synthesize information and understand regulations

• Conduct interviews, research, and prepare investigation reports
• Interview applicants, neighbors, coworkers, and others
• Search records at law enforcement and other agencies
• Compile clear, concise reports to determine employment suitability
• Meet quality and timeliness metrics
• Collaborate with team leaders and review officers
