BACKGROUND CHECK ASSOCIATE - State of Illinois : Job Details

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and energetic individual to serve as Background Check Associate. Under direction, this position will receive and review incoming criminal history and Child Abuse and Neglect Tracking System clearances and apply agency policy and procedures to independently provide information and/or recommendations for resolution. The position will independently perform cursory review of background check information to ensure completeness of information for approval or denial of licensure/employment prior to data entry. The position will also perform data entry of background check information and/or driver eligibility status for facility drivers into the appropriate Department system.
