We're looking to add an Engineering Lead to the Knowledge Base Agent team.

This person will be hands-on and close to the code while also having the opportunity to grow successful direct reports, and run productive teams. The Engineering Lead oversees a small family of teams and provides technical, product, and team-level leadership to those teams.

About the Team

The Knowledge Base Agent Team is building a first-class product that empowers support teams to easily update and maintain their internal and external knowledge articles to help their own support teams and end customers find the right information to solve their problems. We're building a system that grows with your business to continually improve your content and find and fill the gaps based on the conversations you are already having with your customers.

Responsibilities of the Team
  • Participate in the technical execution and delivery of new features to improve time to value
  • Unify separate systems into a cohesive onboarding experience
  • Explore generative AI opportunities to help our customers move fast
  • Utilize industry-leading 3rd party tools and robust home-grown infrastructure
  • Build and scale a robust data infrastructure that serves the entire organization
Key Expectations for Engineering Leads
  • Be actively involved as a player-coach in building software and solving customer problems. Maintain curiosity about technology and your team.
  • Spend at least 50% of your time hands-on, writing code, especially with Java, Kafka, or similar technologies, designing systems, and making key technical decisions.
  • Have a strong technical vision aligned with the product vision, collaborating with teams to solve problems effectively.
  • Push teams to improve technically and implement innovative ideas.
  • Work effectively across infrastructure and product engineering leaders to align on mission and strategy.
  • Mentor, coach, and provide feedback to your engineers to foster growth and success.
  • Create and promote diverse and inclusive teams and culture.

Compensation Range: $219,650 - $351,440 USD annually, including base salary, commission, bonus, and potential equity options. Compensation is tailored based on skills and experience.
