BA/QA - Mindlance : Job Details

Provide a short description of the Position: Business Analyst position to support the OVS Claims Management System. Provide a list of the day to day tasks to be performed by the Selected Candidate: • Review business and functional requirements, as well as related Use Cases related to the OVS Claims Management System. • Create and maintain documentation in Testing Tools such as Client ALM; coordinate, create and update Knowledge Base and Application documentation. • Develop or maintain detailed test plans/test cases/test scripts from documented system requirements. • Execute functional and system tests including regression tests using manual and automated testing tools and record results using testing tools. Use tools such as Client ALM/Quality Center. • Identify and document application defects and track to resolution, perform retesting as required. • Identify and document deficiencies in system documentation (e.g. missing or ambiguous requirements) identified during the testing process. • Ensure appropriate test coverage by mapping system requirements to test cases. • Lead the communication and reporting of testing results to BA Management and/or vendor.
