On behalf of one of our customers, we are seeking a detail-oriented and proficient Azure Data Engineer to join their dynamic team.

If you have a strong background in data engineering, cloud-based ETL/ELT processes, and big data analytics using Microsoft Azure technologies, we'd love to hear from you!

In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing data storage solutions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Implement and manage data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Optimize relational database management using Azure SQL Database & SQL Managed Instance.
  • Develop and maintain Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) solutions for structured and unstructured data.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices across all data solutions.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing data pipelines for improved efficiency and scalability.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, with a focus on Azure Data Engineering.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT data pipelines and big data processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, performance tuning, and data security best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
