The AVP Sterile Processing Operations (AVP SPO) provides strategic leadership for Sterile Processing across HCA. Responsibilities include enhancing operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop policies and data metrics.

This role involves leading division directors and hospital leaders, developing strategic and operational plans, monitoring performance, and supporting the development of advanced capabilities like predictive analytics.

• Develop and monitor strategic and operational plans for Sterile Processing.
• Manage data feeds, metrics, and ensure data integrity.
• Manage vendor relationships and design policies for operational excellence.
• Collaborate with clinical and corporate stakeholders to improve processes.
• Review performance data and recommend improvements.
• Communicate effectively across organizational levels.
• Focus on cost management and service quality.
• Leverage existing teams and tools for process improvements.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, with strong communication skills.

• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent – Required
• 12+ years of hospital leadership experience, with 7+ years in leadership roles – Required
• Experience in surgical services or sterile processing – Required
• Certifications like Central Sterile Processing Tech or Instrument Specialist – Preferred
• Healthcare Leadership Certificate – Preferred
