We're hiring: Assistant Vice President of Operational Planning and Efficiency

• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership and the Chief Operating Officer (COO) while driving high-impact operational initiatives across the hospital.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, Maimonides Health is seeking a strategic partner for a high-impact position to drive operational initiatives, lead cross-functional projects, manage executive-level priorities, and support the development and execution of strategic operational plans.

The position requires exceptional organization, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills, and is ideal for a highly motivated individual with experience in large healthcare systems or healthcare consulting, and who is skilled at working with key stakeholders to support high priority initiatives. This is a unique opportunity for a rising professional to gain exposure to high-level health system leadership, strategy, and decision-making.

The successful candidate must possess a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive operational leadership experience in healthcare management. Must possess demonstrated experience in operations, faculty practice and/or clinical service experience, as well as budget and financial operations. Developing and fostering relationships, as well as strategic planning for new programs is imperative.

Qualifications

A Master's degree is required in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field (MBA, MHA preferred). PMP or Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
