AVP, Client Systems Support Information Technology Governance Remediation

Role Summary/Purpose: The AVP, Client Systems Support (CSS) Information Technology Governance (ITG) Remediation is responsible for overseeing the execution tasks of assigned Remediation COE Workflows. This role includes conducting both pre-execution and execution processes, for all functions, in accordance with the enterprise-wide Synchrony Bank Consumer Remediation Policy and Guidelines.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Participate in team engagement at weekly Issue vs Incident meetings to discuss decisioning, impacts, root causes, and governance alignment.
- Assist in developing remediation plans, obtaining stakeholder approvals, and resolving certification reviews.
- Request data queries to identify impacted populations and financial impacts based on root causes and exclusion criteria.
- Collaborate with Analytics teams to complete Analytics Waterfall Templates.
- Draft and execute test plans for system changes, documenting results for stakeholder approval.
- Create file formats for account adjustments and trigger communications.
- Manage submission of financial adjustment requests ensuring accuracy.
- Validate remediation actions post-production per COE standards.
- Maintain relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers.
- Support and participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Assist Functional Coordinators with day-to-day questions and documentation.
- Lead or participate in certification and validation activities.
- Manage issues timely according to Action Plans and Due Dates.
- Maintain remediation documentation and develop tools/templates for compliance.
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 3 years of Technology experience or High School diploma with 6 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of Fiserv/FD system experience, with knowledge of Cardholder Account Billing, Statements, and Plastics.

Additional Details: Grade/Level: 10. Salary range: $75,000 - $130,000 USD annually, plus potential bonus. Actual salary based on experience and market adjustments. Must be 18+, willing to undergo background checks, and legal to work in the U.S.
